CONSISTENCY, SUBSTANCE, & STLYE.  Every once in a while a bull comes along that truly changes your program, Pinion is proving to be this type of a bull.  We’ve used him on many different types of cows and the consistency he’s shown is tremendous.  Miss Yardley B78 has been a matriarch to our program, CONSISTENTLY producing bloomy, eye appealing calves that are sale highlights year after year.  At 15, her natural heifer calf weaned off at 660 lbs.
Level in his chest floor, dimension, and shape, Pinion is a bull to add the extra’s to your females.

Watchman has been viewed by many discriminative cattlemen and put at the top of the pen each time.  His mother, R9 was a favorite as a baby.  She produced this favorite on her first go round.  Seldom do you find a bull that has this many maternally oriented pedigree’s while maintaining the clean front, attractive profile, and big top that Watchman carries.  This bull has the performance and pedigree to work in a purebred cattle operation or clubby herd alike.  Owned with Stan Sears, Montague California.

Jet Fleck bull has more thickness, rib depth, muscle and fleshing ability of any Simmental bull I’ve seen.  We have leased him from Tim Ohlde of Palmer KS.  Fleckvies are the German Simmental.  They have more of the above named qualities than many of the other Simmentals.  Arnold Brothers of SD had the largest herd of these cattle in North America.  They dispersed their herd a few years ago and Tim went up there and bought their best cows.  Jet Fleck is out of one of these great Arnold Brothers cows and Jet Stream.  He is a meat wagon. We have great hopes for this bull's calves.

He has all the depth, length, thickness, and rear leg you could pattern.  Structural soundness is a must in Utah cattle country and Conclusion is the kind that flat out works.  Your not seeing him all primped and primed, he’s shown in his working clothes.  Doug Coombs owner and operator of Hoffman AI in Logan, UT. Right On is a bull your destined to love.  Everybody loves a baldy, and when they are moderate framed and big topped with plenty of soundness and stretch it’s hard not to admire them.  Right On carries that description.  Built Right has built a legacy of quality cattle and we have always loved our Power Stroke females.  The combination of these two pedigree make this a sure fire bet to sire profitable progeny.  A full brother to the popular AI sire Quota, Right On comes in the same build but with a full baldy face.  Right On will be available for viewing on sale day, we’re sure your going to admire him as much as we do.

Yardley High Regard is powerful the whole way through, but keeps the soft look through his rib and muscle shape.  He’s a big footed stomper that fills in his step, super sound and correct on his front and rear wheels.  He had a 17.1 ribeye area, 3.67 % IMF, and 40 inch scrotal as a yearling.  Zane Yardley has AI’d our cows for over twenty years.  M211 on the bottom side of this pedigree was one of his favorite cows.  Outcross pedigree with power and style make this bull a favorite.  He was the $30,000 high selling bull in our 2010 sale to John Goken and Dale Werning Family.  He was a crowd favorite with many contending bidders.

Dream On is the go to Simmy bull at Yardley Cattle Co.  The females are great mamma cows with nice small teats, feminine made, and broody.  The bulls are masculine, powerful and look like bulls should.  If one word could be used to describe this stellar son of Dream On it would be QUALITY.  This is a stomper with muscle shape, dimension through his rib and power in his lower quarter.  Yardley Titan sold to Lee Cattle Company in our 2010 sale for $15,250.

I have known and been a friend of Tim Ohlde of Palmer KS, it seems like forever.  The world has beaten a path to his door because he has bred, developed, and selected a line and family of Angus cattle that have MORE FLESHING ABILITY, BETTER UDDERS, MODERATE FRAMES, and MORE DEPTH AND THICKNESS, than any other Angus in the nation.  OCC Rising Sun is a sound structured, pretty fronted, deep ribbed, powerhouse.  We had previously used Jet Stream on our Simmental cows and loved the results.  In a crossbreeding or purebred Angus situation we feel that Rising Sun will be a breed changer.

Mahogany was the pick of our 2004 bull calves. We’ve bought fancy Angus bulls from all over the country and I have never bought one that was as good as his sire Primesotck and him. Mahogany has the best hind leg, bone and square butt of any Angus you’ll see. He had a 79#BW 726#WW 1240#YW. His mother, L53, is a fantastic cow that has had 6 bull calves and never a heifer. She is a moderate sized cow by Prompter ET x Fame.

Apache brave is very well balanced with the right shape and muscle pattern.  We like Apache so well we gave $7,500 for half of him from Lee Cattle Co. He is by the very popular OCC Legend out of a granddaughter of Krugerand 490. Grass fat cattle are what we need to breed. Breeding 30 cows his first year and in a dryer pasture, he was still fat in the fall. He is stylish, correct and impressive.

Great cattle come from great cow families and Yardley Skipper hails from one of the best.  His maternal sister sold in our Focus on the Female 2009 for $16,200 to Schnoor Sisters of Chowcilla, CA.  Wayne and Barb Ohlrichs where the contending bidder and went on to purchase Miss Yardley N181 for $20,000, she is a hit and never miss cow.  You’ll see from the feature lots in this sale that Skipper is following the tradition of the cow family behind him.  He is functional and stout with the bone and body that you seldom see in PB Angus.

Royal Jet is the type of bull that defines where we are taking our program.  Soft made cattle that carry performance, thickness, fleshing ability, and style. OCC Jet Stream is now deceased, he stands as one of Ohlde’s greatest herd sires.  Look at the performance this bull carries coupled with a perfect phenotype. This is as good as Angus bull as you will find anyplace.   We used him to clean up all of Angus heifers this past year.  He’s the type of bull that will ad belly, rib, and doablity, without taking pounds away from your bottom line.

Natural fleshing ability is always in style and in the Maine Anjou cow base it’s something that needs to be a focus area.  There is no point to have to feed power into cattle, they should have it naturally, “gutts” shouldn’t come from a bunk.  Fortune is functional, he’s sound, he’s easy fleshing, and he’s cool made, plus he’s more consistent than any Maine Anjou bull we have used in a long time.  As a senior herd sire he’s earned his place with his calf crop.  He’s been viewed and analyzed by the most discriminative cattlemen in the industry and reported as being the most complete Maine Anjou breeding bull they had seen in the pasture, this is after breeding cows for 60 days.
